Spark Sugar Rush Fundraiser to Feature Top Bay Area Chefs!

Spark will host its 4th annual Sugar Rush dessert tasting fundraiser on November 11, 2010 at 111 Minna Gallery. The event is sponsored by local credit union Provident Credit Union and Le Concierge SF, a concierge and personal assistant company.

Oct. 26, 2010 - PRLog -- On Thursday, November 11th, Spark will host its 4th annual Sugar Rush dessert tasting fundraiser at 111 Minna Gallery. This event, which benefits Spark’s youth apprenticeship program for at‐risk middle schoolers, features top Bay Area restaurants and chefs. Several Sugar Rush chefs have been featured in the press recently, including Bill Corbett, formerly of Michael Minna and now pastry chef at new San Francisco hot spot Coi, and Jake Godby and Sean Vahey of the wacky ice cream company Humphry Slocombe. Other exciting restaurants include Chez Panisse, Boulevard, Range, Fifth Floor, Millennium, Delfina, and Recchiuti Confections.

At Sugar Rush, attendees feel no guilt for sampling the delectable desserts because they know they are actively supporting an organization that serves a critical need for local youth. In addition to the opportunity to sample desserts from top Bay Area chefs, guests can bid on an exciting collection of silent auction items, including luxury hotel packages, jewelry, wine tours, and 49ers tickets!
