Florida Mold Testing Laboratory offers Advanced Mold Workshops for IAQ Professionals

Oct. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- Dr. Jason Dobranic  is scheduled to speak infront of Orlando & Fort Lauderdale area indoor air quality professionas this December.  The workshop is dedicated to helping indoor air quality (IAQ) professionals understand advanced sampling techniques for fungi.  Topics will include fungal cultures, PCR, allergens, glucans, mVOCs, mycotoxins and more.

The workshops are scheduled for December 9th in Fort Lauderdale at the Holiday Inn (Hollywood / Fort Lauderdale airport) and December 10th at the Holiday Inn Orlando, FL (Orlando International Airport).  The course is also being offered in, Phoenix, AZ, Naperville, IL, Baton Rouge, LA, Dallas, TX and Houston, TX.  Currently the course is approved for 8 continuing education credits from the America Council for Accredited Certifications (ACAC), 1.09 ABIH CM Points from the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) and 0.50 CEU’s from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP).

During the workshops attendees will be taught to understand the pros and cons of each sampling and analytical technique and how to interpret the data and apply it to IAQ investigation strategies.
