Oct. 20, 2010 - PRLog -- Although Holiday shopping season has not started yet, laptop makers and sellers offer various attractive deals on laptop computers.

For example, in mainstream notebook category - which includes 14, 15, 16, and 17-inch models for everyday use, business and entertainment - you can find a laptop starting at just $359. It's the eMachines 15.6-incher with an Intel CPU, 2GB RAM and a 160GB HDD.

For hardcore gamers there are high performance mobile machines with powerful video cards and processors, large displays, and prices from $1,149. That's how much cost an MSI 17.3" GX740 with a top-of-the-line ATI Radeon GPU.

Fully equipped ultraportables traditionally have high price tags, but now you can get a 13.3" HP Pavilion dm3 for only $549. It has a Pentium CPU, 3GB RAM, and a 320GB HDD.

Netbooks are cheap by default. However, a price of $258 for a 10.1" eMachines mini laptop with an Intel Atom N450 CPU, 1GB RAM and 160GB HDD is a real bargain.

Finally, a touch-screen convertible tablet can be bought now for only $299. This low price is achieved by using a cheap Atom chip and a small 16GB Flash-based storage, but also a $200 instant off at Newegg.
