Here are a few suggestions to help you save money in fuel economy:

Drive smoothly: Accelerate at a moderate speed. Don’t make quick starts or full-throttle shifts and maintain a steady cruising speed. Don’t race between stoplights. Avoid heavy traffic so you don’t have to change speeds. Maintain a safe distance between you and other vehicles to avoid unnecessary braking.

Fuel economy is less in crosswinds and headwinds: slow down in these areas to save on fuel economy.
