The four projects in this free eBook are fun, and more importantly, can help anyone expand their jewelry making skills. The techniques used in these projects range from the peyote stitch to the tubular herringbone stitch.  These four projects will inspire artists to experiment with the art of making beads and start beading beads that fit all their favorite designs.

Cypher’s newly designed triangle bead was inspired by a strand of uniquely shaped wooden beads. Cypher decided to use the peyote stitch to construct two triangles and join their edges together to create a capturing geometric shape. There are lists of materials and tools needed to make these beaded beads, along with a creative Artist’s Tip.

D’Oh Nutz by Mel Jonassen

Jonassen designed these beaded beads that are shaped like doughnuts. She uses a large variety of colors, to help each doughnut shaped beaded bead really stand out. In this project, jewelry makers can learn to master both ladder stitch and brick stitch techniques. Jonassen gives many tips on how to succeed with this fun, colorful project.

Party Girl Necklace by Robin Cowart

Some beaded beads can take a very long time to create, but Cowart has designed the perfect project that only takes ten minutes to make a fabulous beaded bead. Techniques required to make these beaded beads are netting and wireworking skills. Each beaded bead is connected to another with wire-wrapped links that can be constructed from silver chain.

Going Bananas by Lynn Davy

Beaders that are looking for an enjoyable jewelry making experience should try Lynn Davy’s project. This project is a celebration of the sun. Inspired by Emma Ralph’s glass beads, Davy has designed a vibrant beaded beads necklace with bright yellow and orange. The techniques used in this project are the circular peyote stitch, the tubular herringbone stitch, the square stitch, the ladder stitch and fringe. This project has a lot involved in it, but the end result is worth the effort.
