Harpist Caroline Léonardelli’s Juno nominated recording El Dorado released in the United States

Classical harpist Caroline Léonardelli’s latest recording El Dorado received a Canadian Juno nomination for Classical Album of the Year Solo or Small Ensemble. The recording previously only available in Canada has now been released in the USA.

Oct. 3, 2010 - PRLog -- Ottawa, October 1, 2010, - Centaur Classics is proud to announce that its recording El Dorado by harpist Caroline Léonardelli initially available in Canada has now been released in the United States & Europe.  Caroline Léonardelli received a 2010 Juno nomination for “Classical Album of the Year: Solo or Chamber Ensemble” for El Dorado.

The nomination firmly establishes Caroline as a world-class musician and recording artist.  The recording features two compositions from the Juno award-winning composer Marjan Mozetich including the premiere small ensemble arrangement of El Dorado.  Caroline is featured on solo harp and in for the title composition in ensemble with the Penderecki String Quartet and bassist Joel Quarrington.

The other Juno nominess for Classical Album of the Year: Solo or chamber included James Ehnes – Paganini 24 Caprices, Joel Quarrington – Garden Scene, I Musici de Montreal – Tchaikovsky: Souvenir de Florence, Quartet No. 1, and Angèle Dubeau & La Pieta – Philip Glass: Portrait.
