E4A Launches a radical Cloud based Virtual Learning Environment for SchoolsE4A launched a new cloud based virtual learning environment called ClassBubbles. Students are given tasks and they post their responses back in short messages called "bubbles". This makes it fun and engaging leading to higher retention rates.
By: E4A Ltd To help teachers and trainers understand how the ClassBubbles environment works, E4A through its newly updated web site at www.e4a.org.uk, is offering a free taster lesson on developing interview skills. The free ClassBubbles Interview skills taster lesson lasts about 1 hour and also includes two short videos to demonstrate how not to and how to succeed in an interview. ClassBubbles enables students to learn by doing. It is an interactive, fun activity where individuals or teams are set short tasks and they respond back in the form of short sentences which are "tweet" like in the form of bubbles (hence the name ClassBubbles) The main benefits to the schools using ClassBubbles are that there are immediate, measurable outcomes and that students are actively involved in the learning. So retention rates are higher and disruption in the class is significantly reduced. The ClassBubbles system has been designed to cater for any types of learning material and it enables the teacher or trainer to make the lesson interactive by including tasks which the students must complete. The equivalent system for the work place is called CloudBubbles and is designed to make presentations and workshops run by trainers or managers more engaging and to improve the return on investment for businesses and organisations.
