Africa's Children's Fund with the Children's Cross Connection hosts "Taste of the World" Gala!

Sept. 24, 2010 - PRLog -- The Africa’s Children’s Fund in association with The Children’s Cross Connection International will host “Taste of the World” gala on October 10th, 5-9 pm at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Atlanta.

Atlanta, GA, September 14, 2010: Taste of the World is one of the most exciting events in Metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia. Taste of the World is a premier fundraising event for Africa’s Children’s Fund, which is hosted annually by the United Culinary Chefs Association and American Culinary Federation to showcase the world’s finest foods, arts, and music, and to honor children’s champions.  Mr. Martin Savidge and Ms. JaQuitta Williams will act as Master and Mistress of Ceremony. Guests will enjoy bidding on auction items, fine dining, and stellar entertainment. All proceeds support programs of Africa’s Children’s Fund and The Children’s Cross Connection International.  Tickets are 100 dollars per each.

The mission of the Africa’s Children’s Fund is to assist underserved children and their families in the United States, the Caribbean and Africa to improve the quality of their lives.  Education, housing, nutrition and medical care are the prime means of accomplishing this goal.

The Children’s Cross Connection seeks to educate and equip developing nations to meet the needs of their own communities.  CCCI designs programs that specifically meet the needs of children in a specific community, providing education, housing, and medical care to help create independence.  CCCI also hosts domestic medical programs.
