Chase.com Web Site Crash -- A Bad Sign??

If you've tried to login to Chase.com recently without succes, you're not alone. Millions of angry Chase customers are swarming Twitter and online news sites to vent their frustration. Is this a bad sign?

If you've tried to login to Chase.com recently without succes, you're not alone.  Millions of angry Chase customers are swarming Twitter and online news sites to vent their frustration.  How can one of the country's largest banks have their web site down for such a lengthy period?

Chase customers having been trying to login for almost two days now only to be greeted by this message...

Chase has blamed the serious outage on "unspecified technical issues." A Chase spokesperson said "We're working on it, it's a top priority." Chase has assets totaling $2 trillion worldwide and has recently grown its customer base by over 40%. With that kind of size and number of customers depending on Chase, how can the largest bank let this happen?

Chase customers are being advised to conduct business at their local brank offices until the outage ends.
