The Storytellers Cafe' sets roots in Lexington, KY

Aug. 31, 2010 - PRLog -- Plan an evening out every 2nd Thursday at The Storytellers Cafe'. Maybe even take the stage along with other amateur and professional storytellers as they share sad stories, silly stories, scary stories, and funny stories.

September 9th will be "Joke Night." So, pull out your favorite groaner (Rated PG 13 please) and share with the group. It's a lot of fun. Event is free to the public.

Most of this core group of tellers began their communication training at Toastmasters. They discovered that learning to give effective presentations was only the beginning. They wanted to take it further. They learned that telling a compelling story (real or imagined) was what gets you ahead. It's what takes you from good to great.
