Aug. 31, 2010 - PRLog -- The Geek in the Jeep, a Nashville company that provides home computer repair, is sponsoring The WannaBeatles for four shows at the Tennessee State Fair on September 11, 2010. The WannaBeatles are a popular Beatles tribute band based in Nashville. The first show will be at 7:30 p.m. and is scheduled to last 20 minutes. Three more shows will follow at 8:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m., and 10:30 p.m..

The WannaBeatles have performed alongside such artists as Wynonna Judd, Phil Keaggy, and Jonny Lang. They recently appeared before 100,000 people at Atlanta's 2010 New Year's Eve Peach Drop Celebration. The four-piece group uses multi-instrumental skills to re-create all eras of the Beatles song catalogue. They recently made Nashville news a year ago by performing atop Rippy's rooftop to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Beatles final concert as depicted in the movie "Let It Be."

"We are excited about playing at the fair," says Grammy award winning WannaBeatle bandleader, Dennis Scott. "We really appreciate The Geek in the Jeep for bringing Beatles music to the Nashville community.”

When asked about the partnership with the band, the owner of The Geek in the Jeep, Rob White, said, “The WannaBeatles’ music brings back fond memories for me, so I’m excited to be associated with them and their music. They’re also playing a role in bringing Beatles music to the next generations, and as a Beatles fan, that’s important to me.”
