NewAge(R) Welcomes Bill Keiser as Director of Quality; Brings Extensive Knowledge & Experience

Aug. 24, 2010 - PRLog -- Plastic tubing manufacturer NewAge Industries announces the appointment of Bill Keiser as its new Director of Quality. Keiser has nearly 30 years experience in the field of quality and is a member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) as well as an ASQ Section Chairman. Keiser had been an independent consultant for NewAge before becoming a full time team member in July.

“Bill has a wide range of experience in plastic extrusion and injection molding,” notes Ken Baker, the company’s CEO. “His skills will help expand the knowledge of our other team members, especially those on the Quality Team.”

Keiser’s credentials include ASQ certification as a Certified Quality Manager (CQMgr), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), and Certified Mechanical Inspector (CMI). He also sits on several ASTM (American Society for Testing of Materials) committees. Keiser’s responsibilities at NewAge include overseeing all product quality processes, inspections, documentation, clean room certifications, and training, as well as directing supplier, distributor, and third-party audits.

NewAge Industries’ business within its AdvantaPure(R) high purity products division is, and has been, experiencing good growth. The company wanted to be certain it maintained its quality standards for these products, which are used for pharmaceutical processing, chemical transfer, food and beverage lines, and vaccine manufacturing.
