Noted Fashion Photographer and Judge from America's Next Top Model to Appear at Laguna Beach Books

Aug. 12, 2010 - PRLog -- LAGUNA BEACH, CA., September 18, 5 pm. Laguna Beach Books is pleased to host a special book signing with noted fashion photographer and judge on America’s Next Top Model, Nigel Barker. Nigel will give a brief talk, answer questions, and sign copies of his new book, Nigel Barker’s Beauty Equation.

For the past twenty years Nigel Barker has been taking the world of fashion by storm. Barker is highly regarded for his work as photographer and judge from the popular TV show, America’s Next Top Model, which airs in over 125 countries and has an audience of over 100 million viewers each week.

Barker’s presence in the fashion and entertainment industry has resulted in an array of exciting projects, including the creation of his own show, The Shot, on VH1. He also directs and produces films, documentaries, and commercials for fashion-entertainment and Hollywood clients to international charitable organizations.

In The Beauty Equation, Barker takes a look at what beauty is, where it stems from, and how we obtain it. Through his work as a photographer, filmmaker, and father, it has become evident to him that we consistently think of beauty as only skin deep. The Beauty Equation is based on a quest to find what truly makes every one of us beautiful. Each chapter sets out to explain the various definitions of inner beauty in an anecdotal manner taken directly from Barker’s own experiences. He challenges the reader to find their own inner beauty and allow it to expose itself.

This is a ticketed signing only. One complimentary ticket will be given for each book purchased from Laguna Beach Books. Books are $20 and must be purchased in person — no phone sales. We will be issuing tickets up until the event begins, so arrive early. Please note that only books purchased from Laguna Beach Books will be signed.
