July 30, 2010 - PRLog -- Now in their 14th year, the prestigious IT Training Awards are among the greatest accolades in the UK training industry. Each award is judged by an independent panel of judges and presented at the Dorchester Hotel, London in front of over 450 leading industry professionals.

An eagerly anticipated event in the Learning and Development calendar, the awards go only to those who have been able to impress the judges with both a written submission and a live presentation.  A total of fourteen awards will be presented to highlight outstanding success across a variety of categories – from learning technologies to leading innovation – and success will set the winners apart as leaders in their field.

Mariel Blom, Trainer at Ricoh Europe was awarded last year’s ‘Trainer of the Year’ title and feels the award has provided multiple benefits. She said: “It was an honour, a great learning curve, a challenge, a lot of fun and it has broadened my horizons! Next to this it has given me access to a melting pot of knowledge through the exposure to other training professionals out there. I would recommend any trainer with a passion for training like myself to participate in the awards!”
