2010 ACUMA Awards for Excellence in Campus Service open to submissions

July 29, 2010 - PRLog -- The ACUMA Awards recognise the innovations, talents and creativity employed by campus service organisations in providing engaging information, services and facilities to the 1 million tertiary students in Australia.

The ACUMA Awards also serve as a showcase for the breadth and depth of the activities undertaken by higher education campus service organisations as they respond to the various challenges surrounding the social, cultural, material and sporting lives of students.

The Awards recognise the best-in-field under the following categories:

- Campus Newspaper / Magazine / E-Newsletter
- Student Orientation Handbook
- Student Development Program
- Community Outreach Program
- Student Diary
- Website
- Handbill / Flyer
- Promotional Clothing / Product
- Promotional Brochure / Poster
- New / Refurbished Facility
- Staff Development Program
- Annual Report
 
Submissions to the ACUMA Awards are open to ACUMA member organisations, and close at 5pm Friday August 27th 2010.

Award presentations will take place at the 2010 ACUMA Conference dinner evening in Perth, West Australia, on Monday September 27th 2010.
