Emantras gets into Comic Animation

July 23, 2010 - PRLog -- New York, July 23, 2010: Emantras, an award-winning world leader in animation and e-learning, moves into the entertainment space by joining forces with comic book media company Creative Impulse Entertainment (CIE) and actress/producer Paula Garces (“Harold & Kumar”, “The Shield”) on the upcoming “Aluna” motion comic animated release. The production is set to premiere its first teaser trailer at the San Diego Comic Con: International, the world’s largest pop-culture media event.
Actress/producer Paula Garces, star of the “Aluna” animation, comments on the partnership between CIE and Emantras by saying, “I'm excited that Emantras has joined our team of talented artists in this amazing story that will be introduced in the world famous San Diego Comic Con this year.” Jan Lucanus, CEO of CIE, and director of the “Aluna” animation, adds, “The pairing of CIE and Emantras is exciting. Paula's feature film career includes a starring role as Maria, opposite John Cho in the recent New Line Cinema hit sequel “Harold & Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay”. Paula's previous feature credits include the critically acclaimed Sundance Indie favorite “Spin” starring opposite Ruben Blades. She also worked with Tommy Lee Jones in “Man of the House” and in the teen sci-fi adventure “Clockstoppers” starring opposite Jesse Bradford.
