Photos for Philanthropy offers $1m prize Andrew Coppin has also revealed to PIN Online his plans to conduct the world’s first $1 million photo competition. “This is a world first endeavour to raise money and awareness of global charities via photography,” Coppin said he is currently approaching corporations to be involved in the project, which he plans to launch in August this year using social media sites such as Facebook. According to company’s website, for an entry fee of around US$5, people around the world can enter a “world first photo event”, which includes a $1 million photo contest prize. The majority of the entry fee will be donated to charities, according to Coppin. Details can be found at contest@photosforphilanthropy. End
