1.. IIntroductiion
Pharmacovigilance is a rapidly evolving area. Any professional working in the field of
pharmacovigilance is expected to be qualified in the area and have documented expertise.
Working or having an involvement in pharmacovigilance means being constantly
challenged by the Regulatory Authorities with new or slightly different requirements.
The way to keep up with this changing environment is through frequent training.
2.. Traiiniing by Yäbullu
We provide training sessions based on our knowledge and experience. Our training
sessions, usually have two components one theoretical and one practical:
a) Theoretical: whereby we present the theory behind the topic, i.e. the legislation,
guidelines, etc…
b) Practical: independently of the length or topic we aim to have a practical component,
consisting of examples and exercises, so that participants “learn by doing” rather than
“learn by listening”.
Our trainers actually perform pharmacovigilance tasks on a daily basis and therefore talk
from experience providing insight on the best approaches, the most common difficulties,
the grey areas…
In one word, our training sessions are “practical”.
3.. Types of traiiniing
We organise two different types of training:
1. Tailor made: these sessions are organised at the request of a company, institution or
association on a topic of particular interest to a group of people.
2. Open sessions: these sessions are organised at our discretion on various topics of
pharmacovigilance. Anyone, from any company, can register and attend these sessions.
