July 20, 2010 - PRLog -- Doug Collins is no newcomer to the game of basketball, so when the Philadelphia 76ers tapped him to be their new head coach, he knew how to step in and start working with his new team, even during the off season.

That meant heading down to Orlando for the first NBA summer league games of 2010, where he sat on the sidelines with rapt attention as his new draft pick, Evan Turner, and several other young players attempted to get court time.

As his players worked to showcase their skills, scouts watched as some players were not only trying to prove themselves to the coach, but other teams as well.

In this new exclusive video, coach Collins discusses what he's seen from his young players so far, talks about up and coming guard Jodie Meeks and then discusses why so many lottery picks play so poorly in the summer league.
