July 15, 2010 - PRLog -- For several months, Fischer & Frichtel has been promoting its easy-maintenance 2-story Towne Homes at Charlestowne as the “best value in St. Charles County.”  In fact, priced from only $99,900 – with 1365 square feet and a garage, “best value” might be an understatement.  And plenty of homebuyers have agreed.
Community sales manager Matt Johnson reported exceptionally strong buyer traffic in the Towne Home village throughout the month of June.  “At these prices, young professionals in particular have discovered that they actually can afford a new home, and it’s been very busy here for weeks!” he stated.  “Charlestowne’s great location is another huge draw, and our customers have been coming from all over the metro area.”
Now, however, Fischer & Frichtel is about to redefine “best value” in the popular multi-village development, which is situated just off Highway 370 in North St. Charles.
The firm has recently acquired 41 sites designated for detached single-family housing in a section adjacent to Charlestowne’s main lake and directly across the boulevard from a community pocket park and playground.
Designs for an all-new homestyle collection are already on the drawing table, and preliminary plans call for living areas that range from approximately 1400 to 1800 square feet.  The big news…  Base prices are expected to start from just the upper $130’s or low $140’s!
According to CEO John Fischer, “This opens Charlestowne to a whole new market – those buyers on a limited budget who want a free-standing home with a yard.  In today’s economic climate, they’re convinced they can’t afford new construction – much less a Fischer & Frichtel home.  But now they can!”
The focus this summer, however, continues to be on the builder’s incredibly affordable Towne Home village, where more than 120 owners are enjoying carefree living without the hassle of yardwork.  Phase I is nearing completion, and two “Regency” buildings are under construction.  One of these is sold out, and only one unit remains for purchase in the other.
Johnson emphasized that construction of the final planned “Regency” building is about to begin, and shoppers hoping to take advantage of the special close-out pricing from $99,900 on this model will have to act quickly.  Those purchasing in the building still have the opportunity to make structural changes and all interior color selections.
The Regency is one of three charming two-story designs offered and includes two bedrooms, a loft, and front-entry garage.  Substantial savings are also available on the “Chamberlain” and the “Kingston,” both close-out priced from $109,900.
Several Showcase Inventory versions of the Kingston with a full basement are ready for immediate or prompt move-in, starting from $119,900.  Buyers opting for models halted at the drywall stage can choose many of their interior finishes.
Instantly accessible to all parts of the metro region via 370, Charlestowne features a nostalgic “Old St. Charles” ambience with its ornamental streetlamps and signage, delightful lakeside pavilion, pockets parks, and refreshing water features.
