Outlook for contractors improving

July 15, 2010 - PRLog -- Contractors will find that their outlook for the coming months is stronger, according to the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC).

Opportunities for both permanent and contract positions are set to increase before the end of the year, the latest REC JobsOutlook indicates.

Roger Tweedy, the REC's director of research, explained that employers are finding it difficult to be positive about the future because of the uncertain financial situation.

"As public spending cuts begin in earnest, we believe flexible temporary and interim staffing will be essential to the ultimate re-engineering of the sector," he said.
