The ITC's 'Certified Global Business Professional' Prep Course Results in 100% Pass Rate for Exam

July 14, 2010 - PRLog -- This Spring, the International Trade Center SBDC offered a prep course for those wishing to obtain the designation of NASBITE Certified Global Business Professional. The results speak for themselves. All participants of the May CGBP Prep Course passed the exam, a 100% pass rate - Congratulations to the new CGBPs!

The NASBITE CGBP provides a benchmark for competency in global commerce.  The CGBP designation demonstrates an individual's ability to conduct global business including Global Business Management, Global Marketing, Supply Chain Management, and Trade Finance.  For candidates experienced in international trade, the certification confirms that knowledge.  For candidates just beginning, it establishes a professional development goal to ensure a full understanding of the profession.  For companies, it assures that employees are able to practice global business at the professional level required in today's competitive environment.

The Dallas International Trade Center SBDC is the leading international training organization in Texas offering training and certification in the areas of import, export,  free trade agreements and industry specific topics.

At the request of area professionals,  the International Trade Center expanded its training sphere to incorporate the Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) exam. The course was taught by ITC counselors who have attained CGBP classification and who know what to expect from this challenging exam. The CGBP prep course is designed to offer a comprehensive, interactive approach which leaves no stone unturned. Topic discussions, practice questions, vocabulary games, guest speakers and resource maps are some of the tools which are designed to further the participant’s knowledge of international business, while preparing for the exam.
