| Shellshock tells his story through his musicShellshock merges 90's hip hop with today's style
By: A & R Select Dayton, Ohio – Victor Jerome Ennis started his musical journey back in 2005 while still in high school. It was a natural thing for him to put beats together. He also loved playing instruments, especially the drums since he was a drum major. He served five years in the U.S. Military after graduating high school. He served in two operations; Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. This is where he got his stage name of Shellshock. He is proud of his ability to maneuver away from the pitfalls of what he calls the ‘thug life’. But he knew all too well what this type of life is about. He struggled against the environment vs. his spiritual family upbringing. He stayed focused and worked steadily assisting in the production of his own music and local artist in the Dayton, Ohio area. Shelshock’s newest lead single, “Girlfriend” Some of his accomplishments are as follows: • Shellshock has opened for Juvenile, Uptown Project Records and Young Joc. • He has also performed for Source Magazines ‘Unsigned Hype Tour’. • He has gained recognition for his mc skills as an official hype man for Worldwide CoreDJs’ DJ Skno and the State-famous DJ Opzzy. • His music has been featured on the Trill Promotions website as well as being featured on Mr. Hanky presents..”Training Day”. • He was with the Russ Parr Bus Tour 2009-Dayton, Ohio • He was with the Russ Parr Peace Tour 2010- Dayton, Ohio • He was nominated for best new artist, best show host, best collaboration in 2008 and 2009- hip hop awards. • He was the opening act for Rick Ross, Soulja Boy, Plies, Gucci Mane, Twista, Pleasure P, Swanty Lo, Juvenile and Lil’ Weebie. “Kingz Amonst Kingz” has a an early 2011 release date.
