1)   Orthopedic procedures require various table positions. Make certain that the table meets all of your positioning needs.

2)   There are a number of other factors to consider when purchasing a table. 5)   Other essential components for tables include: a side rail, a load limit of at least 159 kg, a hand or foot operated remote control, arm boards, shoulder braces, stirrups, leg holders, counter supports, and a radiolucent tabletop.

6)   The operating beds should be C-arm accessible, and accept 35 × 43 cm x-ray cassettes.

7)   There are several accessories used to position and stabilize the patient, such as arm boards, shoulder braces, stirrups, leg holders, and counter supports. These accessories can be purchased with the table.

8)   It is important to clean the hydraulics regularly. Users should follow manufacturers' guidelines when performing maintenance. To remove debris, oil, and water, manufacturers suggest periodically replacing the filters.
