PatriaPet takes part in Scandinavian Midsummer Celebration

June 23, 2010 - PRLog -- Clifton NJ -PatriaPet, LLC; a premier manufacturer of high-quality, multi-national pet products will take part in this year’s Midsummer festival organized by the Scandinavian American Heritage Society. Dog owners of Nordic descent can visit the PatriaPet booth and celebrate their heritage by purchasing PatriaPet’s Norwegian or Swedish dog collar, leash, charms and doggie tee shirts. The Midsummer Festival will be held June 26th from 11 AM to Dusk.

This year Vasa Park will combine its annual Barnensdag (Children's Day) celebrations with the Midsummer Celebration. Barnensdag, an annual event since June, 1960 features folk dances performed by children ages 5-13. Other traditional celebrations include the assembling of a Maypole. SWEA NJ assembles the Maypole on the site around noon and will raise and lead the audience in the singing and dancing after the opening ceremony.
