Sensationnel HairIcon 2010 Coming Aug 1st 2010

June 21, 2010 - PRLog -- Sensationnel HairIcon 2010 (photo and runway competition) will leave its mark on hair history
on August 1st in Jacksonville, Florida

Sensationnel HairIcon 2010 (photo and runway competition) will take place at the Prime Osborn III Convention Center in Jacksonville, Florida on Sunday, August 1. This will be the largest community/stylist/consumer event in the country and over $16,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded.
Are you fierce? Are you fabulous? Can you rip the runway? The search is on for the next runway diva. Participate in the live consumer runway competition and you could be the next face of Sensationnel HairIcon 2010.
There will also be a salon stage competition during which salons from Jacksonville, surrounding areas, and other parts of the country will showcase their work. These salons will present their signature styles in extensions, cuts, and color on the Main Stage in a creative and entertaining manner.
Hair Zone, the parent company of Sensationnel, is a community oriented and committed business and believes that paying homage to those individuals who keep the community together is important. During the show, Sensationnel HairIcon will honor and celebrate some of the unsung heroes of local, non-profit organizations that are truly making a difference. Over $4000 will be donated to charities throughout the State of Florida. There will be two “celebrity style” photo shoots open to both stylists and selected consumers. The first “Hollywood Chic” photo shoot is on June 13th at the Holiday Inn located at 11083 Nurseyfield Dr, Jacksonville, Florida. The second photo shoot is on June 20th at the Holiday Inn located at 6802 Commonwealth Ave, Jacksonville, Florida. Stylists and models must come as a team.
These pictures will be uploaded on a local radio station’s website (to be announced on senstationnel.com) on July 2nd and listeners will have the opportunity to go online to vote for the best picture. Voting will end on July 20th. The winners will be announced on August 1st at the main event.
