I bought a set of Taylormade R7 TP irons about a year ago and have been in love with them ever since. Previously, I played an old set of Ping Eye2 irons with Rifle 6.0 shafts (blue dot, upright +2 degrees). I purchased the R7 TP irons after trying them out at several golf shops. Let me just say - these irons rock!! It took me about 5-6 rounds to get used to them, but now I am dialed in. These irons work magic around the greens - especially for bump-and-run shots. You feel very confident at address. And as for mis-hits? No need to worry - these irons are VERY forgiving! The best part about these irons is the spin you can generate on full shots onto greens. The R7 tour irons launch the ball high and stop the ball on the green perfectly. The Dynamic Gold S300 is a great choice for a shaft. I highly recommend these irons for a 0-14 handicapper.
