June 17, 2010 - PRLog -- Boston, MA – Boston Interactive, a Boston web design and interactive marketing firm, is proud to announce that the global interactive community has voted its website for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (www.aspca.org) the best Charitable/Non-Profit website of the year in the Peoples Voice Webby  Awards. Voting for the Peoples Voice Awards was done online on the 14th Annual Webby Awards’ site and was open to the public. This year over one million people voted online for their favorite websites.

“We are honored to be recognized for our work with the ASPCA by the voting public,” says Chuck Murphy, Boston Interactive’s Founder and CEO. “Boston Interactive works with many non-profit organizations and it’s great to see the websites we build driving positive results for them. The fact that voting was open to the public makes this award especially significant.”

Winners were announced in May on the Webby Awards website and honored at the 14th Annual Webby Gala on June 14th, hosted by B.J. Novak of NBC’s “The Office.” The Webbys are presented by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences and were established in 1996. They are the leading international awards honoring excellence on the Internet.
