Newton Abbot Racecourse’s Ladies’ Day Proves More Popular Than Ever

June 17, 2010 - PRLog -- Newton Abbot Racecourse’s Ladies Day on June 22 is proving to be so popular this year that only a limited number of tickets remain.

Demand for this year’s Ladies’ Day has outstripped previous years. Only Course and Paddock Enclosure tickets remain on sale. The racecourse has issued advice for ladies wishing to attend to pre-book their tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Ladies are invited to don their hats for Ladies’ Day, the most glamorous fixture of the racing calendar, as the racecourse will be awarding a prize for the best dressed lady, plus this year have introduced another prize for the best hat. The two lucky winners will each receive a pamper day at The Beresford Clinic, plus a delightful posy from award winning florist Trugs of Exeter.

In addition to the excitement of the evening racing, the organisers of the South Devon Festival, headlined by Will Young, will be offering all race-goers a 10% discount on all festival tickets purchased at Ladies’ Day.

Alex Penn, Sales and Marketing Manager at Newton Abbot Racecourse said: “Despite the economic climate, ladies are still looking for the opportunity to enjoy a thoroughly fun day out with friends.”

“All corporate boxes and restaurant tables are booked, plus places in the VIP marquee were sold out by April. I have even had ladies asking to go on a reserve list. This year looks set to become the best Ladies’ Day to date.”

Gates open from 3:30pm, with the racing action due to commence at 6:30pm. Course and Paddock Enclosure tickets remain on sale priced £10 and £16 respectively.
