St Austell Brewery Ladies' Day Returns To Newton Abbot

NEWTON ABBOT, U.K. - June 18, 2019 - PRLog -- Glitz, glamour and great racing are set to return to Newton Abbot Racecourse on Tuesday 25 June with the return of the ever-popular St Austell Brewery Ladies' Day evening racing fixture.

Alongside seven thrilling races during the evening, added excitement will come in the form of the Best Dressed competitions which are closely fought each year.

During the fixture, a team of judges will walk the course selecting racegoers who they feel could be crowned winner in one of the evening's three competitions – Best Dressed Lady, Best Hat and Best Dressed Gent.

The shortlisted racegoers will then be invited into the Parade Ring where the evening's overall winners will be crowned and will walk away with some top prizes.

Amongst the prizes on offer are: tickets to a fixture of the winner's choice at Newton Abbot Racecourse including a meal in the Paddock Restaurant and an overnight stay at the Premier Inn; a Champagne Afternoon Tea for Two at the Dart Marina Hotel & Spa in Dartmouth; Champagne and a bouquet from Albany Florists and Champagne from St Austell Brewery.

Following the abandonment of Friday evening's racing fixture on June 14, the Ladies' Day fixture will extend from six to seven races with the addition of the Class 2 race The St Austell Brewery Handicap Steeple Chase with a prize fund of £22,500 which has been transferred from the abandoned fixture.

Tickets for Ladies' Day are on sale now at just £10 for Course Admission or £18 for Paddock Admission, with discounts available when booking Paddock tickets online in advance.

Gates open at 15:45 ahead of the first race of the day at 17:45. The evening's racing will culminate at 21:00 with The Actuate Marketing Handicap Hurdle Race.
