June 16, 2010 - PRLog -- Glenda Taylor never saw it coming. She and three friends loved stories and writing so much they used to meet up each week at a local storytelling course in North Wales. They soon realized that they enjoyed it so much and soon Flintshire Storytellers was born. And almost immediately they were in high demand.

"We really had no idea there would be so much demand for our story telling services" says Glenda Taylor. "We've performed to schools, care homes and day centres through to garden centres, historical societies and even the National Trust."

Flintshire Storytellers cover a wide range of story themes and genres including legends and local stories from Wales, Greek myths and growing up in World War II. They also perform increasingly on special dates throughout the year such as St. Patrick's Day, St. David's Day and Halloween.

From the earliest of ages our thoughts, wishes and dreams are often formed through listening to our parents and teachers recant tales of fantasy and historical fact. Now it seems an ever increasing body of people can't seem to get enough of these stories as adults as well.
