Putting Earth On The Hanger

June 14, 2010 - PRLog -- Going green has been a huge go-to market for some time now.  You could say that recycling started it all, but more recently it’s hit our households in more efficient and effective ways.

       The fluorescent light bulb is a huge hit, using cold water over hot water for laundry is slowly catching on, and even solar power is finally becoming a very valuable option.
But would anyone ever think of clothes as playing a role.  Sure, there are hemp-made shirts and pants, but going beyond that is there anything else?  What about the way we clean our clothes?  Taking them to the dry-cleaners not only costs you money, but is also very environmentally unsound.Not to mention those pesky wire hangers, and those annoying little ties they use to keep the hangers together.

       In comes the Closet Billboard.  Now don’t let the name fool you in any way, it’s actually a quite impressive item that’s very eco-friendly.  Manufactured by the Hanger Media Group, this new green product is an innovative way to “save the planet, one hanger at a time.”
Using clothes’ hangers made of 100% recycled material, this unique item advertises on the very thing every household closet has, hence the name the Closet Billboard.  The ads range from luxurious get-away spots to that perfect car you’ve always dreamed of.  The everyday wants and needs of the consumer can be found on these advertisements.

   Think about what it would mean to use these hangers over the old-fashion wire hangers.  You would truly be doing mother-nature a huge favor, right?  
   
       As for me, my choice is pretty clear.  With up to sometimes three weekly trips to the dry cleaners, my closet could use a new lease on life.
