June 14, 2010 - PRLog -- SENSeOR’s new transceivers WR D001 and WR D004 remotely interrogate several SAW (Surface Acoustic Wave) sensors either inside ISM Band with multiplexing option (CE-compatible WR D001), or using wide frequency band for measurements in confined spaces (WR D004).

Associated with SENSeOR’s wireless, batteryless sensors, which combine accuracy, robustness and almost unlimited autonomy and measure up to 200°C, these compact and powerful transceivers perform temperature, pressure and stress measurements. A wide range of industrial applications are possible: temperature monitoring on several heating points in electrical equipment e.g. on rotors and bearings inside engines, production chain critical point monitoring, temperature measurements along high-voltage lines.

SENSeOR’s CE-compatible transceiver WR D001 interrogates simultaneously four sensors within ISM frequency band 433,05MHz – 434,79MHz and features four SMA connectors (RF 50 ohms) for antenna connections (multiplexing option). WR D004 transceiver operates in a wide frequency band (430,05MHz – 449,05MHz). Available with multiplexing option (four antennas), it interrogates up to six sensors per antenna. They both feature standardized interfaces (RS232, USB port, analog output). Their dimensions are 18x11x3cm.

An evaluation kit is available, featuring either WR D001 or WR D004 transceiver, four antennas and up to six temperature sensors per reader antenna, with various packaging (e.g. thermowell packaged TSA D100).

“Our customers, either end-users or OEMs will discover with this starter kit the numerous applications our technology opens - for instance in equipment monitoring or process control - even multiplied by the possible interrogation of several sensors.” highlights François GEGOT, Business Development Director
