Redbox Multimedias installs Curious George

June 13, 2010 - PRLog -- Redbox Multimedias have just installed an interactive touch screen system incorporating Curious George onboard the Stena Line ferry, Stena Europe. The system is for younger children aged from three years old and is designed to keep the children entertained by encouraging creativeness and interactivity through a simple touch screen interface.

Located in the children’s soft play area on deck 7, Curious George games is a quad mount design with seats allowing the child or a child and an adult to sit in comfort and play the different games available. There are also wall mounted screens for children to stand and play should they want to. The games are designed for the children to interact with and involve colouring in different pictures, a maze where you have to help George find his way to his bananas, a map of the world game, a card memory test game and a puzzle game.

Stena line purchased the rights to use Curious George from Universal studios and commissioned Redbox Multimedias to design, program and install the games system for use onboard their ferry’s for the younger passengers to keep them entertained during the passage between ports.

Stena Europe which operates between Fishguard in Wales to Rosslare in Ireland, is the third Stena line ferry to be fitted by Redbox Multimedias with the Curious George games system The two ferry’s already giving children the Curious George experience  are HSS Stena Voyager and Stena Navigator both of which sail between the Port of Belfast and Stranraer
