FDC sets the wheels in motion with new logo for tyre specialist

June 2, 2010 - PRLog -- Treadsetters, the Telford-based tyre wholesaler, was founded in 1999 and has a competitive turnover of around £30million, specialising in truck and bus tyres.

Treadsetters was looking for a design agency that would quickly be able to put their stamp onto their tyres. The tyre specialists had booked a place in an exhibition in Germany and needed the logo to be ready for this event within a fortnight.

Treadsetters consultant Ian Townend said: “Out of all of the design agencies that I had to compare, Dale was first off the blocks with an intriguing response. We were looking for some quick work, and FDC was able to offer us speed and competency.

“From what I could see of FDC’s website, I liked their designs and I was sure they would have something to offer us. When I spoke to them, they were full of good ideas and knew exactly where we were coming from.

“FDC was very good and created the logo within just two weeks. They provided a quick service, and impressed me with their team’s competence.”

Managing director Dale Moreton said: “This was probably one of the toughest challenges that FDC had had to face so far, as we were required to work closely with marketplace operations in China, where the tyres were being produced.

“This meant strict time restraints in getting proofed artwork backwards and forwards. However, all the work was done to meet the required deadline for the exhibition that Treadsetters’ was involved in.”
