Delhi Technological University forms available from 26th may 2010

Delhi Technological University (formerly Delhi College of Engineering) will start the sale of application forms for its BTech and MTech courses.
 
June 1, 2010 - PRLog -- Delhi Technological University (formerly Delhi College of Engineering) will start the sale of application forms for its BTech and MTech courses from Wednesday for admission in the new academic session. The admissions will be conducted on the basis of the rank obtained by the candidate in All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE).

Of the total 910 seats on offer in 14 BTech programmes this year, 85% seats will be reserved for candidates from Delhi and the rest for those from any other state. Those with a minimum of 60% aggregate in physic, chemistry and mathematics in class XII will be eligible to apply for the BTech programmes. A candidate must also have passed English as a subject in class XII exams.

DTU also offers 17 MTech programmes with 306 seats for full-time courses. Also, 45 seats will be offered on parttime basis. According to a statement released by DTU on Tuesday, the prospectus and application form can be obtained from the University counter by paying Rs 750 by demand draft, drawn in favour of the Registrar, DTU and payable at Delhi.
