US compnaies and german companies lead the market and developments with
a share today of 70 percent. But Japan and China follow and increase there market shares.
Already this year china has one of the biggest industrial application plants. 20 companies
hold over 50 percent of the markets. Catalysis/Synthesis is the biggest application by value.
But biological use for biomass processing, biocide, drug delivery personal care and food processing promise to increase efficiency , reduce energy costs both over 30 percent.
