PRLog -- What's old is new and what your grandad drank is back with a resurgence. The ads are all over the magazines showing Scotches. Old brands like Johnny Walker, Glenfiddich, and Macallan seem new to this hip generation. What they may not want to admit is that they have been around and consumed before they were born. Scotch bars are popping up with cool decors. One example is the Whisky Priest that opened 3 weeks ago in Boston right on the harbor front. Gabe the Manager said that he has over 120 Single Malt Scotches on the list and in stock behind the bar. Cruises to nowhere are the new way to appreciate Scotches. The average ages of the patrons were 25-45 last night on the Scotch Whisky enthusiasts cruise in Boston on the "Spirit of Boston". Over 500 people went from table to table to capture a glimpse into the master distillers world. All the big names were there and Douglas of Drumlanrig launched the Douglas XO blended Scotch which is now available for the first time in the United States. Google to find out about the next whisky cruise in NY this summer.
