Leader of Labour Party Vacancy Spotted on Job Website

May 20, 2010 - PRLog -- A vacancy for ‘Leader of Labour Party’ has been spotted on a UK job website http://www.cvdatabase.co.uk The listing simply read “Leader of Labour Party – Applicants must be Male, White and preferably in their 40s. Good Expenses Scheme. Note: Bigots need not apply”
The listing, which was seen briefly on the front page of the site, has since been removed. Sam Rawson, Managing Director commented: “We’ve been running a free trial period for companies to upload their vacancies, and it seems like someone was having a bit of a laugh with one of their free listings.”
“As it was quite obviously a hoax, we have had to remove the listing from the site. Fortunately, no-one had applied for the job – so there shouldn’t be too many disappointed job seekers out there”
