Rewarding Planet’s Green Social Media Portal Launches
(using Green Social Networking’s Charity to finance Commercialized Conservation)

PORTLAND --- May 17, 2010 -- Lights, camera, action.... the stage is set as RewardingPlanet(.com) makes it opening debut... it's objective? - Save the planet by creating the greatest private Green Social Portal (No Ads Network & Media) that orchestrates it's membership's measureable active voice (ratings and poll) to influence change, while pooling all donations and the majority (~70%) of their subscriber dues to jumpstart profitable commercialized conservation projects.  To fuel growth, the network 'rewards' each member with a lifetime recurring revenue stream for promoting new membership, and whose aggregate total equals ~30% of the budget classically allocated to standard fund-raising protocol.

“this provides for the many environmental/conservation/energy projects that just need that bit of momentum to go from sub-marginal to profitable, turning charity into profits thereafter” quoted Luci Scarman (Rewarding Planet’s Program Relations Director).

As a private, 'by-invitation-only' Green Social Network (organization) where most new members are 'sponsored' or introduced to Rewarding Planet from a close personal or professional associate, Celebrities, Editors and Top Donations compete with in the spotlight (as potential sponsors) to secure 'requests for sponsorship' emails from applicants who visit Rewarding Planet directly (not introduced by a friend), responding for example to an Internet ad, press release, email campaign, rss, etc.).  This creates a powerful financial incentive to motivate the 300+ volunteer editors, whose ratings are a direct testament to their ability to educate, enlighten, entertain and most importantly retain, the network membership's level of active participation

“thus if you'd the opportunity to share this opportunity with a friend: it's both hip and makes money.... or you can write about green that stimulates a reaction - this is your game” quoted Phil Nakata, (Rewarding Planet’s Group Director).

The Green Social Network:  Provides a stimulating (no ads) mix of media content organized around the key metaphors of "In Action" (celebrities, projects & field stories), "Green News" (Syndicated and Web) and "People" (Web and Social media: Forums, Top Polls, Top Forum Topics) ... created as original creative content or as non-official (but personal) reviews of references provided by Rewarding Planet's in-house industry monitoring workstation.

The Technology:  The Rewarding Planet content management systems unifies article classification, with dynamic menus, URL aliases and RSS, to insure effective exposure of any content, into every path or resulting menu subset, while maintaining only one copy of the materials.  By contrast, with the majority of content systems, effective navigation is only available for the primary path to any content based on the 'systems' favored taxonomy protocol.  That means all content is immediately available in all menu path (new extensions added dynamically) and that a RSS publishing link can be established to anonymously track updates and changes to that specific search pattern.

The Projects:  ~70% of Rewarding Planet's monthly subscriptions funds jumpstart those 'Green Projects with the greatest potential for creating major impact (effective change) to our problems, typically in the largest, undomesticated and rural properties world-wide... where they quickly become sustainably profitable.... and they move to the next (having taught them 'how to fish' vs. just feeding them metaphorically)... currently Rewarding Planet is doing 240,000 hectares (592,000 acres) of profitable commercial conservation within 1,904,000 hectare of conservation projects (4.703M acres).  Their projects are located currently in the USA, the Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, Africa and Brazil

Rewarding Planet has figured out how to integrate Green social media, social networking, polling and non-profit fund-raising to Save the Planet literally… while making modest fortunes for those (everyone starting anytime) who held build and maintain it
