May 15, 2010 - PRLog -- New York -- BET's hit television show “106 & Park” will be showcasing the highly anticipated urban pop entertainer, Young Steff, as a spotlight act live on “Wild Out Wednesday”, 6:00p on May 19th, 2010. 106 & Park is BET's most popular show and #1 music video show among urban households. “Wild-Out Wednesday”(WOW) serves as a springboard for the most promising young talent in the music business and is the ideal platform for Young Steff to showcase his vocal and performance skills.

“When Young Steff auditioned for us we knew he was spotlight material right away”- P.C., Senior Show Writer, "106 & Park" and BET Specials

“Young Steff is an undeniable talent with the potential for international superstardom, who has finally been given the shot to show the world what he’s made of”- Kyra Larock, Manager, Larock Artists

Young Steff will also be performing in a Blaze The Stage Spotlight Showcase hosted by BET executives that evening at 9p at venue, G.U., 2110 Seventh Avenue.

There is a prime spot in the music market for a young, world class entertainer. Young Steff’s time is now. He can capture an audience in a split second with his remarkable vocal range and self choreographed dance moves reminiscent of the late Michael Jackson, and will certainly captivate the 106 & Park audience.

First signed by Roc-A-Fella Records executives, Dame Dash and Jay-Z at the young age of 12, and later to Richcraft/Atlantic Records, Young Steff is prepared on every level to make an impact. He has been diligently preparing for this performance, along with a national summer tour, “Youngest ‘N Charge”, a documentary style reality show, and new music with Grammy Award winning producers.

While with the Roc-A-Fella, Steff had success and scored a hit with the song "Can I Holla" that featured Bow Wow.  In 2005, Dame and Jay parted ways: Steff chose to become a free agent. Steff was led to super producer Rich Harrison (who produced hits such as Amerie "1 Thing ", Jennifer Lopez "Get Right", and Beyonce "Crazy In Love") who offered to sign the young performer to his growing Richcraft label through Atlantic Records, after an impromptu audition with dancers in tow. Under Richcraft/Atlantic he released “Professional” and the popular “Slow Jukin’”.  Now, Steff is taking steps once again to advance his career.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity that BET has given me. What many people may not know is that I’m a performer who can really sing. I look forward to revealing that truth on the 19th”-Young Steff

A LITTLE MORE about Young Steff: Young Steff is s a highly anticipated American R&B, Hip Hop, and Pop singer-songwriter currently signed to Richcraft Records and managed by Larock Artists. Steff was born in Vineland, New Jersey. His father was a member of the gospel group Spirit, and his aunt—Gina Thompson—has worked with producer Rodney Jerkins. By 8, Steff traveled with and sang alongside his father's group. Steff won talent shows, including the McDonald's Apollo kid's competition in Philadelphia. His path to success seemed relatively straightforward, especially at age 12 when his demo landed in the hands of then Roc-A-Fella Records executives Jay-Z and Damon Dash, and they signed him to their music label. While with the Roc, Steff had success and scored a hit with the song "Can I Holla" that featured Bow Wow.  In 2005, Dame and Jay parted ways: Steff chose to become a free agent. After the controversial Roc-A-Fella split, Steff was led to super producer Rich Harrison (who produced hits such as Amerie "1 Thing ", Jennifer Lopez "Get Right", and Beyonce "Crazy In Love") who offered to sign the young performer to his growing Richcraft label through Atlantic Records.  Now, Steff is exploring new opportunities to advance his career to the next level.
