The Grand Beauty Spa presents a two day Mind Body Personal Growth Workshop Saturday and Sunday May 15-16 at the Franciscan Center, 3010 Perry Avenue, Tampa, Florida.

This inspirational and exciting weekend workshop was designed for those who are looking for healthy ways to deal with the pressures and stress of daily lives. It is an opportunity to learn new ways to develop a calm and clear mind and a capacity to be present, aware, and awake to themselves.

The Workshop will teach concepts like guided meditation, the ancient practice of Qigong, healing exercises, and a variety of techniques designed to increase self awareness and help participants enhance their own talents and gifts. These teachings are easily understood and suited for those new to them as well as long time practitioners.

At the end of the workshop attendees will have tools to know how to:
•   improve their posture
•   increase their lung capacity
•   develop a contemplative relationship with nature
•   apply the foundations of mindfulness to their daily routines
•   use meditation as a way to free themselves from reactive patterns
•   make healthy nourishing food choices and use mindful eating as a way to maintain healthy weight
•   be more “ in tune” with their body
•   increase self awareness by widening their capacity to listen to their intuition ”

Steven Michael Pague - Qi Gong Instructor

Steven Michael Pague is a founding staff member and long-time faculty of the Omega Institute, and codirector of Omega's Winter program for more than 25 years. He is a certified instructor of the Institute of Integral Tai Chi and Qigong and his studies of Chinese healing arts continue after decades of investigation. Steven is also a skilled performing musician, songwriter, group facilitator, and educator. He has studied and works as staff with The Tracking Project, sharing its programs of natural and cultural awareness with people all over the world.

Robert Bullock - Interpersonal Communication Specialists

Bob Bullock became aware of his intuitive gift at the age of five. Beginning in 1980 he developed and taught classes on parapsychology, hypnosis and psychic phenomena, hypnosis for the medical and counseling professions, and intuitive development programs at various colleges and organizations in New England. He has worked as a medical intuitive and as a forensic intuitive on missing persons, cult abductions, and murder cases.

Bob also used regression therapy and past life regressions to help others come to terms with present conditions holding them back. Much of what his clients experienced was confirmed through post research.

He is the founder of Robert H. Bullock, Interpersonal Communication Specialists, a consulting company that addresses high growth crisis issues, professional and personal growth coaching, leadership and sales training, and intuitive profiles for clients and prospective employees since 1980.

Dr. Hermann is double board certified in Internal Medicine and as a Physician Nutrition Specialist.  She graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey as a member of the Medical Honor Society, Alpha Omega Alpha in 2000.  She completed her residency at Columbia University, in New York in 2003 where she also served as Chief Resident.  She trained in acupuncture in 2003 and 2004 at UCLA Medical School, a program that is only available to medical doctors.  In 2004 she became board certified as a Physician Nutrition Specialist.  She has been in practice in Tampa and St. Pete for seven years.

Dr. Hermann provides patients with an effective combination of cutting edge conventional treatments and alternative therapies.  As a research scientist, Dr. Hermann’s mission is to ensure that any holistic treatment that she offers is both safe and effective.
Dr. Hermann has published research on Bioidentical Hormone Therapy in the Journal of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics in 2004.  She holds any holistic treatment up to the same criteria as the medical community uses to evaluate conventional treatments.

Ella Gorecka - Spa Director at the Grand Beauty Spa, Workshop Facilitator

Ella Gorecka first discovered meditation through an eight-week “Mindfulness Stress Reduction Program” course she signed up for after seeing a roadside sign.
After that illuminating experience, she has participated in numerous workshops, week-long meditation retreats; and often challenges herself to days of meditation in complete silence. Ella is a member of a local meditation group and has developed a daily discipline of meditation practice.
