TransWorld Media Promotes Billy Corvalan To Associate Publisher Of TransWorld Business

May 5, 2010 - PRLog -- TransWorld Media, a division of Bonnier Corporation and the leading action sports media brand, is proud to announce the recent promotion of Billy Corvalan to Associate Publisher of TransWorld Business.
Corvalan started at TransWorld Media in 2005 and was hired on as a Sales Associate, primarily selling advertising for TransWorld SURF.  He then moved into the role of Sales Manager for TransWorld Business over two years ago.  In his new position, Corvalan will be responsible for managing the sales strategies for TransWorld Business, including the magazine, website, and its other media outlets.  He will work closely with the magazine’s Editor-in-Chief, Joshua Hunter, to maintain a cohesive sales and editorial business unit and will be reporting to TransWorld’s Group Publisher, Liam Ferguson.

Corvalan has been in media sales for over eight years and has managed for over five.  His hobbies include surfing, skiing, and motocross riding, proving his passion for the action-sports world.  Although a native of Long Island, New York, he now calls Southern California his home with his wife and son.
