PRLog -- Willspy Investigations of Costa Rica was retained by four parents in the U.S.A. to conduct an investigation involving the social web site Badoo that is linked to Facebook. The parents of children in the U.S.A. informed willspy that there children and been exposed to pornography and that there had been credit cards processed by women in Costa Rica.
Willspy set up a fake profile on Badoo and found that there were many women with fake profiles and were in fact prostitutes and were running sex web cam business through Badoo. Badoo was informed about the problem during the investigation over 20 times and never responded to any complaint. There are no age warnings on the web site or age requirements.
Badoo allows and encourages it’s new members (free) to enter the web site through a direct link with Facebook thus children can have access to sex web cams after the girls process the parents credit cards. Also the new members profiles on Badoo do not need to match there profiles on Facebook. The girls that offer there services do not do any age check.
Willspy informed the parents that there is no software that they know of to block Badoo because of the linking and the code in Badoo. Willspy also informed the parents that they should also monitor the activity of there children on Craigslist because of some of the same problems with the exception of the linking to Facebook.
