Pottersville (NJ) Reformed Church Sponsors Self Defense Workshop for Families

April 20, 2010 - PRLog -- Pottersville, NJ  --  People of all ages are taken by surprise when they don’t know how to respond to a possible attack or burglary. To the rescue! A one-of-a-kind workshop that teaches personal safety and security wherever you may be … at home, in the office, shopping, traveling, or walking.

On Saturday, May 8, 2010, from 10 AM to noon, Pottersville Reformed Church is sponsoring this highly informative, interactive self defense program that helps people of all ages to quickly evaluate and react effectively to all personal safety circumstances.  Parents will have the knowledge they need to teach their children personal safety. Seniors will learn how to outsmart any attacker.

Karla M. Dehncke, a fitness consultant, black belt TaeKwonDo instructor and owner of FITtastic Personal Training LLC (http://www.fittasticpt.com), will present self-defense techniques using an engaging and comprehensive approach you can’t afford to miss. Pre-registered attendees will receive a FREE Family Safety Manual that will serve as an agenda for the program.  
      
The program will be held at the Church’s Community House located at the corner of Route 512 and Black River Road in Pottersville. Tickets can be purchased at the door: $5 per person, $10 per family.
