For Pamela Tanner Boll, this documentary was a very personal project. Struggling to balance life and family as a female artist, Pamela was inspired to make this movie after hearing about Maye Torres,  a mother of three boys who lives in Taos and was supporting her family with her art.  It was Pamela's hope to find some contemporary heroines to provoke and inspire all of us to demand more from our work, our creativity and our lives.
