Multicultibaby.com: Celebrating Great Books for Children of All Shades and Colors

April 12, 2010 - PRLog -- If you love reading and desire to immerse your children in a world filled with people of all races and cultures, then Multicultibaby.com is the online book site for you.

Owner Shannon Harmon, a mother and attorney, wanted to expose her child to worlds near and far and cultures like and unlike his own.  The books featured in the MultiCulti Baby Book Shop do just that.  

MultiCulti Baby offers a diverse inventory of books that cannot always be found on the shelves of major retailers.  The inventory includes books such as, “The Skin You Live In” by Michael Tyler—a beautifully illustrated, wonderful read that celebrates the differences and similarities among all kids.  

Shannon is particularly excited about the opportunity to work with preschools and public schools to expose kids to culturally diverse books early and often.

“I have always loved reading,” says Shannon, “and when I had my son I was drawn to the idea of having a place to buy books that celebrate children of all shades and colors.  With the support of my husband, family and friends, MultiCulti Baby was born.”
