Kadey-Krogen Yachts Spring Event Series

April 7, 2010 - PRLog -- Kadey-Krogen Yachts will participate in three Annapolis area boat shows this spring giving local area buyers multiple opportunities to see various Kadey-Krogen models alongside other cruising yachts. The boat show schedule begins with the Bay Bridge Boat Show at the Bay Bridge Marina on Kent Island, April 22-25. Kadey-Krogen Yachts will have a boat in this show for the first time and will also be one of the sea trial boats for the new Take the Wheel workshop being offered at the event. Though the Bay Bridge Show will be a first for Kadey-Krogen Yachts, the company teamed up last fall with the Annapolis School of Seamanship and the U.S. Boat Shows by offering a Krogen trawler yacht for Take the Wheel and is pleased to support this workshop again. Boat show attendees are encouraged to pre-register for the workshop—which includes boat show tickets—and participate in a day of education in addition to an on-the-water experience. The company will display a Krogen 44’and 48’ Whaleback.

Following the Bay Bridge Boat Show, Kadey-Krogen Yachts will be exhibiting in the first annual Yacht Collection Sale, May 1-2 at Chesapeake Harbor Marina. The Yacht Collection Sale is from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday. The Yacht Collection Sale is the result of a collaborative effort among Annapolis area yacht and brokerage companies and will highlight over 60 quality vessels. Kadey-Krogen Yachts is supporting the grassroots organized event by displaying a brokerage Krogen 44’, a brokerage 48’ Whaleback, and a new Krogen 58’. The Yacht Collection Sale is free of charge to the public and is an ideal event for boaters to spend additional time becoming familiar with the companies and boats on display. Kadey-Krogen Yachts welcomes the local community as well as the larger boating audience to spend quality time on board their boats which are capable of offshore adventures and coastal cruising.

Kadey-Krogen Yachts will complete the spring event series by exhibiting in the 7th annual Spring Sails Event. The Spring Sails Event will be held over Mother’s Day weekend, May 8-9 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. in historic Annapolis. This event is also free and is a unique open house with eight other local dealers. Most of the boats on display are sailboats so it’s a perfect opportunity to see a trawler alongside sailboats. There will be 20 sailboat lines, 75 sailboat models, and hundreds of previously owned yachts on display at four main locations throughout Annapolis. Kadey-Krogen Yachts will be part of the exhibit at the Port Annapolis location. Each event location will have boat financing and insurance specialists for you to talk to and shuttle service is available between locations.
