March 25, 2010 - PRLog -- Adam Powell of Swansea University delivers this month’s Science Café talk at the Dylan Thomas Centre on Wednesday, 31 March at 7.30pm.

Adam Powell is based at Swansea University’s Centre for Sustainable Aquaculture Research, a new facility which researches methods of cultivating fish and shellfish under environmentally friendly conditions.

His discussion on ‘Natural Prawn Killers: Shrimp Vaccination – Why Bother?’ will draw on some of this research.

The Swansea Science Café offers opportunities for anyone to find out more about new, exciting and topical areas of science.

Designed to be informal and entertaining, the café typically runs on the last Wednesday of every month at the Dylan Thomas Centre.
