British-American Business Council Houston Welcomes the Houston Dynamo

March 17, 2010 - PRLog -- Houston TX - The British-American Business Council Houston will officially welcome the Houston Dynamo as a member at their monthly Networking on Tap event at Sherlock's Baker Street Pub on 23 March, 2010, 6 pm to 8 pm.  Assistant Coach and former Rangers and Chelsea player John Spencer and the Dynamo cheerleaders will be on hand to greet BABC members and guests.

With the rise of the MLS in the United States, soccer, or football, has become common ground for the UK and the US with many British players coming to the US and US players beginning to play for UK clubs.  

"The special relationship that exists between the UK and the US is not just in business", says British-American Business Council Houston executive Director Becci Himes, "We share not only the same values in business and the English language, but a passion for our sports.  We are very proud to have the Houston Dynamo as our newest member as evidence of that special relationship."
